The Director of Finance for Transportation and Warehousing will be part of the Supply Chain Finance Leadership team and will own the executive level relationships with our logistics organization. This leader will be responsible for gaining in depth knowledge of Keurig Dr Pepper’s transportation and warehousing operations in order to support and drive the functions growth strategies. This position will lead a team of analysts responsible for the development of forecasting and annual operating plans. They will collaborate with the business, finance and accounting teams across the organization to analyze and communicate key drivers of the company’s financial results. This individual will be expected to use data to influence decisions being made by the business while promoting an environment of strong internal controls and efficiencies.

What you will do:

  • Maintain strong relationships with Product Supply leaders and serve as the primary contact for the logistics organization
  • Leverage relationships across the organization including Operations, Commercial, Accounting and Corporate Functions to ensure that financial targets and KPI’s are achieved
  • Develop and oversee the annual operating plan and monthly forecasting activities
  • Pro-actively drive and influence strategy by performing detailed financial analyses and providing insights to Senior Management
  • Identify and evaluate system and process improvement opportunities and leverage technology to drive efficiencies
  • Manage month end close and reporting activities to ensure accuracy and that all deadlines are met
  • Develop and implement business plans aligned with enterprise strategy
  • Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to pro-actively identify improvement opportunities
  • Preparation of reporting packages including Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews as well as analysis of business trends and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, accounting standards and procedures
  • Manage, lead and develop the Logistics finance team


Requirements

What you must have:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
    • 15+ years of experience
  • Technical and Other Skills:
    • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; ability to model business requirements and prepare “what-if” analysis
    • Demonstrated competency in use of financial, planning and reporting software platforms (SAP & Hyperion a plus)
    • Experience leading the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
    • Proven ability to analyze data build financial models and influence executive leadership teams
    • Experience supporting a Supply Chain or Logistics organization and experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry is preferred

    • Proven ability to lead teams, facilitate meetings, and communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Comfortable working with high volumes of data and the ability to identify and summarize key messages
    • Detailed and process improvement oriented
    • Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
    • Ability to work flexible hours as required
    • Ability to follow Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures, as well as our operating principles
