Operations Analyst - Remote
The Operations Analyst will identify and deliver best practice reporting, analytics and strategy to support to DSD Merchandising Initiatives. This position will report to a Merchandising Initiatives Senior Manager and build and enhance the existing reporting infrastructure, support Merchandising Initiatives projects with complex data analytics, data modeling and strategic thinking. This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership on a regular basis. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated skills in critical focus areas, think strategically across a broad range of topics, and be motivated to drive change.
Shift and schedule:
- 1st shift
- Monday - Friday
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed
Position Accountabilities:
Collaborate with champions, including the Vice President of DSD Operations, to deliver value to the business
- Develop and Maintain Relationships – within the Merchandising Initiatives teams and throughout KDP network
- Analyst’s success will come from people and process; developing and maintain the right relationships and using a collaborative approach will ensure overall success
- Collaborate With People – work with all levels, from shop floor to management, and have a true desire to make a difference in all people you encounter
- Drive Culture Change – Drive fact-based decision making throughout the organization
- Duties will include project management, delivery of value through improved reporting and analysis processes, leadership, and support of Merchandising Initiatives projects to include (but not limited to):
- Accessing Snowflake database and exporting weekly merchandising frequencies and days of service across the DSD Network
- Pulling data for complete customer and profit center dimensions (case volume, profit margin, etc.)
- Build-out of the Merchandising Planned Service Time tool
- Importing of data into routing software
- Producing and publishing weekly and monthly metrics reports (Planned vs Actual, Merchandiser Time in Store, etc.)
- Assisting with the Merchandiser Routing process as needed, including on-site work within our DSD Network
- Assisting with other projects, including M&A work as needed
- Will need to utilize system skills (data pull and analysis) frequently
- Ability to travel 50% (as needed)

Total Rewards:
- $55,700 - $96,390 / year
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and/or 1-3 years’ work experience in data, analytics and reporting from inside or with a similar company
- Ability to travel on occasion to see problems or business needs firsthand
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft office suite of tools (heavy emphasis on EXCEL and Power Point)
- 1 year of exposure or supporting aspects of a Direct Store Delivery network preferred
