Territory Sales Manager for Topeka and Wichita, KS and greater surrounding areas

The Territory Sales Manager manages sales, operations and P&L of a branch to meet financial and company objectives for profitability and growth. Manage sales force in expanding market penetration and ensure timely product delivery and proper merchandising of Keurig Dr Pepper brands like 7UP, Snapple, Core, Bai and other fan favorites to retail stores within territory.

  • This position will be based out of our Topeka and Wichita, KS facility, supporting customer's stores in Wichita, Salina, Garden City, and Topeka, KS
  • Will directly manage a team of 6 direct reports: indirectly accountable for staff of up to 58
  • This position will be working 5 consecutive days

Position Responsibilities

  • Teach, train, and coach branch leadership in the areas of sales, marketing, profit growth and market share. 
  • Will directly manage a team of Sales and Merchandising leaders and indirectly Account Managers and Merchandisers.
  • Foster professional business relationships with all levels of management.
  • Develop and grow working/business relationships with all major chain customers.
  • Provide strong customer management.
  • Develop and communicate the business plan, establish goals and objectives, monitor results and recourse as necessary to ensure the desired results.
  • Deliver the business plan by providing leadership, focus, and motivation.  Lead by example with integrity and maintain the company’s principles and values.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and income goals.
  • Maintain expenses within fore-casted levels.
  • Set, implement and monitor trade execution standards for Direct Store Delivery. Standards include account frequency, display diagrams, equipment sets, and account service levels, including merchandising standards.
  • Participate in regular business reviews and trade field surveys.
  • Ensure administrative responsibilities are executed in a timely and effective manner to maximize productivity of branch operations.
  • Develop and monitor staffing levels for all branch operations.
  • Maintain company safety standards throughout the branch.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years consumer products sales experience in progressively responsible positions
  • 2 years previous management and 2 years previous supervisory experience
  • Proven success developing, retaining, and leading a sales organization
  • Valid driver's license
