Quality Supervisor – Corporate Analytic & Microbiology Lab
As a Quality Supervisor, you will lead and provide day-to-day directions to a team of Quality Technicians, ensuring that all quality plans and standards are consistently met. This role is hands-on and involves designing experiments for product, packaging, line qualifications, analyzing quality issues, preparing procedures, training inspectors, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for audits, analyzing quality data and costs, and applying statistical methods to maintain compliance and process control.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on Day shiftMonday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
- Lead, coach, and manage QA Technicians, including workload planning, training, and employee relations.
- Oversee quality and food safety programs to ensure alignment with customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit readiness for third-party, partner, regulatory, and certification inspections.
- Collect, analyze, and report product conformance and performance data to guide production priorities.
- Support training for Quality Teams and plant personnel, ensuring adherence to testing procedures, policies, and specifications.
- Perform audits and quality tests with Operations and QA staff to address issues and verify corrective actions.
- Maintain and communicate quality records, including customer complaints and internal issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and quality tools (e.g., process mapping, statistical methods).
- Monitor QC performance to ensure compliance with labeling, product information, and packaging specifications.
- Facilitate resolutions to daily production quality issues.
- Maintain and utilize quality databases for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure staff are trained and empowered to report food safety, quality, and compliance issues, with authority to take corrective action.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Total Rewards:
- $70,500 - $90,000
Where Applicable: Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field highly preferred.
- 2+ years Leadership expereince
- 3+ years of experience in product development or quality, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Proven success in building and executing Quality Plans to meet KPI and food safety goals.
- Advanced knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, Food Defense, and Quality Management Systems,
- Familiar with ISO17025 standards.
- Experience with SAP and SPC (InfinityQS) preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
