Job Overview:

As a Training Specialist you are responsible for creating standard work instructions and supporting and assessing standard work practices in the Production area. This position will coach, assist and train the trainers who are responsible for training the floor employees on their job responsibilities.

What you will do:

  • Create and support standard work and training practices using SWIs, OPLs, Master Document lists and other training tools
  • Update individual employee training tracking as necessary using a training matrix
  • Validate training effectiveness through the audit process
  • Train and coach employees to ensure confidence and success in the training system
  • Facilitate bi-weekly meetings on all shifts with Managers, Supervisors, and technicians to ensure continuity of knowledge of training processes and procedures
  • Plan and execute NEO (New Employee Orientation) and onboarding
  • Provide support and documentation expertise to CPI events and initiatives as necessary (edit standard work documentation, oversee training/retraining, and provide suggestions on what training tools would be most effective)
  • Ensure and conduct high quality, calibrated training across all sites
  • Ensure and conduct uniform assimilation of equipment, processes, and products within site
  • Partner with Safety and Quality departments to deliver training within the site
  • Ensure uniform documentation for like equipment/processes across sites
  • Develop self as well as others to support organizational readiness
  • Act as a liaison for Best Practice communication across sites
  • Provide support, feedback and consistent communication with Production Management, and our internal and external partners
  • Publish communications and updates through established structure ad network as necessary
  • Update area training boards on a weekly basis with pertinent information, such as weekly training schedules, updates, etc.
  • Be able to manage projects and work in a cross-functional team
  • Model the Keurig Dr Pepper values
  • Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards, and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the department
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $62,500 - $93,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • 3-5 Years experience Learning and Development or related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude of production operations
  • Intensive knowledge of process flow with specific focus on Keurig Dr Pepper packaging lines, as well as the individual components with the area
  • Certification in the Train the Trainer Job Instruction course
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, as well as strong presentation and facilitation skills, to include large groups
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of Visio software applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and areas of focus
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude that works well with a diverse workforce
  • Ability to work flexible hours as necessary to support all four production shifts
