The Senior Supply Planner will work with Demand Planning, Sales & Marketing, and Operations partners to create effective production and fulfilment plans. You will be responsible for ensuring the Contract Manufacturing sites are aligned to production and fulfilment plans and communicate supply constraints back to the organization. This position will also develop weekly/monthly supply plans as an input to the S&OP process and be responsible for managing reporting related to the products being managed. This position is based in Singapore and reports to the Senior Supply Planning Manager.
What you will do:
NPI (New Product Introduction) Lead
- Responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) and Predecessor EOL (End of Life) supply planning
- Accountable to meet key performance metrics and to plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor the new product families
- Key deliverables are to meet critical customer commits, revenue targets and program milestones by working with cross functional stakeholders, ensuring sufficient capacity, supportable ramp plan and raw materials are in place
- Spear-head inventory control to ensure optimal usage of supply and performs analysis to proactively identify and minimize potential excess supply during the NPI product phase
- Drives & develop continuous improvement of NPI / EOL process and tools
Supply Planning
- Weekly analysis of supply and demand and generate weekly reports for assigned portfolio
- Review weekly 12-18 months rolling sales forecast, create and drive the generated supply plan for delivery to the US according to inventory strategy
- Responsible for the Supply plan (fulfilment and production) including new product launches, balancing change requests between sales forecast and manufacturing schedules
- Key partner bridging demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, quality, contract manufacturers, sales and marketing and various teams to optimise supply plan, resolve issues, expedite delivery to mitigate out of stocks risk, minimise obsolescence and prioritise production with alignment with respective stakeholders
- Balance inventory in the US distribution centers and minimise transfers for cost / time efficiency
- Continuously review the sales forecast, analyzes production plans and inventory reports, availability / requirements for long lead time items to provide production guidance to the manufacturing sites
- Recommend and implement production and transportation actions when products are in out-of-stock or allocation situations
Key User/SME for Supply Planning
- Lead & Support system implementations or process improvement initiatives to increase planning capability and efficiency for supply planning
- Participate in system or process improvement initiatives to ensure the function are well equipped with the right tools to perform effectively and efficiently
- Monitor and drive improvement of Masterdata in SAP, in line with business model processes
- Support on-boarding and refresher trainings

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or similar field required; APICS certification and/or affiliation a plus
- 5+ years of experience in a supply planning / scheduling / fulfilment / inventory management role (preferably for a manufacturer of consumer products) using SAP systems is preferred
- Experience in NPI & EOL management
- Strong project management skills, with capability to lead cross functional team in supply chain related improvement projects
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel
- Familiar with descriptive analytics tools such as Tableau/ Power BI and data modelling
- Proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain a calm composure in stressful situations
- Good team player, able to work well with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
- Ability to be flexible as required and communicate proactively with global partners as required
