As an Employee Relations Coordinator, you will work with more senior Human Resources professionals to support various policies, programs and processes and are responsible for the resolution of employee relations issues, such as conflicts, disputes, and disciplinary matters, with fairness and consistency in a timely manner. You will help managers and employees with general HR questions, and you will provide general administrative support to the HR team, including research and reporting needs.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Support HR Business Partners in their day-to-day activities (e.g., employee first point of contact and intake, letters, presentations, headcount management tracking, invoice/expense management, updating organizational charts, file management, updating HR policies, etc.).
- Assist with employee relations intake, investigative fact-finding and preparation of responses.
- Respond to employee and union representative inquiries and maintain and process time-sensitive records.
- Provide advice for labor and employee relations related matters to operations managers and HR partners to ensure the alignment of business and labor strategies.
- Research employee data in Workday, SAP, and Kronos, and generate ad hoc reports upon immediate request of management.
- Assist in ensuring HR policies and practices are communicated and adhered to within the assigned business unit.
- Support with performance management including maintaining and updating employee files.
- Coordinate and facilitate activities related to KDP's New Employee Orientation Program.
- Coordinate and organize the logistics for training sessions.
- Assist with the management of small to medium special projects and perform other duties as needed.
- Provide customer service that instills trust in KDP, and always maintain confidentiality.
- Travel may be required
Total Rewards
- Salary Range: $18.37 - $29.04 per hour
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, related field or professional experience equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in Labor / Employee Relations in a multi-contract, complex union environment OR 2+ years' experience as a paralegal supporting employment law related activities highly preferred
- Proven background in dealing with sensitive and timely employee and union issues
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Successful candidates will also demonstrate these additional qualifications:
- Proven bias for action as evidenced through proactive, innovative and value-creating solution implementation
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex, dynamic and rapidly changing business environment
- Proven ability to prioritize the most impactful work amidst multiple competing priorities
- Effective communication in both verbal and written forms in a timely manner (e.g., emails, reports, policy inquiries, employee intake interaction, filing, returning calls and texts same day, etc..)
