Job Overview
As the Associate Brand Manager for McCafé®, you'll step into a role that extends beyond marketing and helps to unlock growth opportunities for the brand. Your responsibilities will involve supporting the vision and growth strategy of a priority partner brand. This includes influencing the innovation agenda and collaborating with cross-functional teams through the integrated planning process to ensure excellence in execution.

What you will do:
At KDP, our Associate Brand Managers are leaders who have challenger mindsets. They put the consumer at the heart of everything they do, and they lead with a General Management approach. In this role, you will:
- Support the Brand team in delivering short- and long-term growth strategies on the McCafé brand in retail, including supporting the execution of key elements within the annual marketing plans.
- Support the Brand team in planning and executing breakthrough consumer communication campaigns with internal cross-functional teams and agency partners, giving focused direction to build brand equity and deliver business results.
- Lead and manage key brand-led innovation projects including, but not limited to packaging, digital, and PR, as well as innovation development and project management for new products for the portfolio.
- Gather and analyze brand and category-specific data to understand Canadian consumer trends and develop business-building recommendations.
- Cultivate effective working relationships with the internal cross-functional teams to support and execute innovation and brand programming, including: Omnichannel marketing, Insights, Innovation, Revenue Growth Management, R&D, Regulatory and Finance.
- Actively co-manage the brand marketing budget for this highly visible portfolio with P&L accountability.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business and/or Marketing
- 2-3 years’ experience in product and/or brand management, preferably in the food and/or consumer product industries
- Experience with product and packaging development
- Experience with marketing project management and coordination within a company
- Experience in working as part of a cross-functional team.
