The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Procurement strategies and leading governance best practices and controls for Procurement policies, systems, and processes. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing end-to-end integrated solutions including Procurement’s strategic buy-sell model and leading cross-functional teams to onboard suppliers to the buy-sell program while ensuring process compliance and issue resolution. As the international buy-sell process owner, the Senior Manager will also be responsible for managing the risk of loss for all direct materials for KDP Global Sourcing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5 internal employees in addition to an offshore third-party team, directing work and managing end-to-end transactional processes
- Build and deliver the budget for the Operations team
- Establish operating policies and procedures for Procurement
- Build strategic partnerships with key functions and stakeholders
- Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
- Collaborate with IT, AP, Suppliers, Quality and Manufacturing to identify root causes and implementing solutions for all issues, including those related to SAP IDOC errors, Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration transactions, and supplier claims
- Monitor the shipments of procured goods against shipping notifications to proactively manage inventory status and risk
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive operational efficiencies and support the buy-sell model
- Be subject matter expert for procurement master data and systems, including Fiori, ServiceNow, Stibo, SAP
- Represent the Procurement Operations function with the Business Units to drive IBP and Supplier Forecast accuracy initiatives
- Ensure compliance for supplier and inter-company transactions
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, internal controls, business procedures as well as supplier and inter-company transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited university; master's degree preferred
- Minimum eight years of related business and five years managing high performing teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to navigate and thrive in a multinational and matrix environment
- Experience and proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive changes, issue resolution, and improvements
- Ability to define opportunities, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and implement solutions
- Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders, external customers, and suppliers
- Highly organized, great attention to detail, thorough, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office suite and experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
