The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of forklift operators and shipping and receiving clerks to achieve company goals related to safety, quality and productivity. The warehouse supervisor will be expected to achieve these results through team development, process improvement and accountability. They will also collaborate and partner with peers and support teams to positively impact customer service and maintain proper inventory control within the warehouse
- Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday
Compensation: This is a full-time salaried position. Paid on a biweekly basis.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse operations team.
- Lead a team of 15 – 20 forklift operators and 2 operational leads to meet company goals in the areas of safety, engagement, quality, and efficiency.
- Foster and achieve a high performing safety culture
- Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures regarding shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Train and evaluate staff on effective operational and inventory techniques and daily tasks.
- Schedule and manage warehouse team members within labor and budget while meeting the demands of the facility.
- Submit request for materials and track purchases and supplies
- Act as a liaison to other departments (Logistics/Inventory/Production)
- Support inventory efforts in regard to cycle counts and recounts

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing / six sigma techniques
- 3 years of experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory and Delivery, Operations experience in a warehouse environment
- 3 years of experience in a strong leadership role, presenting to regional leadership teams, local leadership teams, and supervising front line employees
- 3 years of experience of inventory and financial cost management systems: SAP or similar system capability.
- 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
