Production Technician Lead - Holland, MI

We are seeking a Production Lead to supervise and coordinate activities across multiple high-speed packaging lines. This hands-on role is responsible for providing daily leadership, coaching, and support to production personnel, ensuring operations meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and experienced in leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule:This is a full time position on 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11:00pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach production operators to meet daily and weekly production goals

  • Ensure all packaging operations align with safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction targets

  • Monitor equipment functionality and maintain a safe working environment

  • Manage operations within established labor and budget guidelines

  • Maintain accurate records and production documentation

  • Analyze production data and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement

  • Recommend enhancements to equipment, materials, and processes

  • Support and enforce lean manufacturing and standardized work practices

  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative and performance-driven culture

  • Build team capability through training and skill development


Total Rewards:
  • Pay starting at $30.39 per hour + Shift Diff.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry preferred)

  • Experience with high-speed production equipment and quality monitoring systems

  • Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
