Job Overview:

The Senior Benefits Analyst will be responsible for strategy and administration of US Health & Welfare programs. Responsibilities will also include limited focus on retirement and international support. This position requires a high degree of analytical skills, organization, and collaboration. The Senior Benefit Analyst will partner with stakeholders, such as HR Business Partners, Labor Relations, Legal, Retirement, HR Operations, Union leaders, vendor partners and other teams as necessary.

This position is a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX, with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, evaluate, and analyze proposed benefit offerings; conduct Health & Welfare and Retirement cost analyses and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary benefits subject matter expert for union-represented employee populations, providing analysis, guidance, and recommendations on benefit plan design, costs, and collective bargaining proposals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end administration of negotiated benefit changes, including maintaining agreement documentation, monitoring implementation progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical plan designs, Health & Welfare programs, retirement plans, and applicable benefits regulations.
  • Review and interpret benefit-related legal and regulatory documents, including Summary Plan Documents (SPDs), Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), and other plan materials to support compliance and administration.
  • Prepare and complete federal, state, and local Health & Welfare and Retirement compliance filings as assigned.
  • Develop professional reports, presentations, and executive-ready materials that effectively communicate analyses, recommendations, and program updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage Health & Welfare vendor relationships, including RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluations, implementations, and ongoing performance management.
  • Support benefits projects and initiatives, ensuring accurate execution, effective organization, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Provide day-to-day Health & Welfare benefits administration support, including employee inquiries, issue resolution, vendor coordination, and Annual Enrollment activities.
  • Perform Health & Welfare budget tracking, financial reconciliations, and benefits-related reporting.
  • Maintain organized records, data, and documentation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and attention to detail.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze data, prepare reports, and develop presentations that support business decision-making.
  • Perform other benefits duties and special projects as assigned, including, but not limited to global mobility, financial reconciliation and wellness related items.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $76,400 - $105,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of related Benefits experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong focus on numbers and analytics
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to Benefits
  • Understanding of Health & Welfare plan designs
  • Must have strong inclination and comfort with reporting, complex spreadsheets and calculations
  • Must be proactive and agile, self-starter with a team first approach
  • Experience producing deliverables in a fast paced, time sensitive, highly responsive environment, with ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including large group presentations
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Some travel may be required

Benefits Specific Skills Preferred but not required:

  • Prior Benefits Analyst, Benefits Management or Benefits Broker experience
  • Union negotiations and experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Retirement plan knowledge, including 401(k), pension, and plan administration processes
  • Knowledge of Health & Welfare plan design, administration, and funding arrangements
  • Workday HCM experience
