You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

What you will do:

As the Security Analyst, you will…

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools to identify and respond to threats.
  • Lead investigations of security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate response and remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to implement and improve security controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support vulnerability management by reviewing scan results, prioritizing risks, and tracking remediation activities.
  • Conduct threat intelligence research and contribute to the development of proactive detection and defense strategies.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering Information Technology, System Analysis, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically, 3+ years of experience in IT/network security/cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, threat landscapes, and incident response methodologies
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including:
    • Endpoint Security (Crowdstrike, Microsoft)
    • SIEM and logging (Crowdstrike NG-SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, Cribl, Logstash)
    • Email Security (Proofpoint, Microsoft)
    • SOAR / Security Automation
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems, networking concepts, and cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, or vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance security operations.. (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR).
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
  • Experience in working in multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
  • Experience with ticketing and incident tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Information Security Certifications, e.g., CompTIA CySA+, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent. (preferred)
