Manager, DSD Digital Excellence - Retail Execution - Frisco, TX
Position Summary: The Manager, DSD Digital Excellence, will play a key role in the Retail Execution product management workstreams associated with our largest technological CRM transformation initiative, dedicated to our 8000+ frontline DSD teammates. Simply stated, the primary objective of the initiative is to digitally advantage our DSD frontline to sell smarter, service better, more seamlessly. The ideal candidate will be a mix of planner, project manager, leader, analyst, techie, communicator and change agent. This is an incredibly exciting, fast-paced, high visibility and high impact role for the right high potential team lead. Travel expectations of this role are about 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Execution Product Management
- Orchestrate data and product workstreams to design, build & deploy a game changing CRM solution for our Frontline Account Sales Managers, Merchandisers, and Delivery Drivers.
- Lead from the front, keeping Pod workstreams focused and synchronized, ensuring smart, iterative efforts drive successful product rollout from MVP Pilot to Scaled Installation.
- Work through barriers and ensure the product development continues to move to achieve the ultimate goal of helping our frontline sell smarter, service better, more seamlessly.
Cross Functional Team Leadership
- Steward a cross functional team of Tech, SMEs, and 3P to ensure that the team has clarity on the overarching plan and progress being made.
- Ensure clarity on anticipated releases and any dependencies needing threading, to mitigate risk and ensure release plans stay on track.
- Collaborate with CMO to ensure product availability synchronizes to the drumbeat of the organizational change management plan.
- Remain agile and resilient in the face of obstacles, challenging the team to drive positive change, and celebrating successes along the way.
Stakeholder Navigation and Influence
- Ensure 2 way communications are open with stakeholders both in the field as well as with leadership.
- Move collegially, swiftly and judiciously on feedback, ensuring quantitative sense checks are used to corroborate or clarify any qualitative verbatims heard.
- Educate and influence stakeholders to become champions of the product, ensuring contextual and practical understanding to drive street level accountability across for tool utilization and feedback for continuous improvement.
Oversight for Analytics & Data Infrastructure
- Manage, mentor and guide an analytic team mate who will be responsible for stewarding Data Infrastructure Workstreams, as well as 360 Reporting & Analytics.
- Leverage analytics to identify behavioral or mathematical hotspots/opportunities, and ensure efforts to test & deploy move as intended.
- Ensure value delivery with clear, simple, visible & action oriented tracking.

Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $96,800 - $169,400/ year
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Must be willing to travel about 50% of the time
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 5+ years of experience in a business facing analytics role with connectivity to tech partners
- Track Record – driving frontline product installation at scale, with a heavy lean towards leveraging data, analytics and insights to drive behaviors and raise in-market DSD execution
- Ability to lead multiple workstreams, remove barriers and collaboratively lead cross functional teams to ensure program planks stays on track
- Ability to visualize and synthesize into Powerpoint, as well as communicate & translate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Expert Technical skills – Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Alteryx, Co-Pilot, etc.
- Ability to influence not just teammates, but also partners, & senior stakeholders
- Agility, Accountability, Urgency - willingness to do whatever it takes to drive program success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct DSD Experience – especially developing analytic/tech solutions to various frontline functions: account managers, merchandisers, delivery drivers, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile Tech Development and CRM (ideally SF CG Cloud) implementation on a Mobile Device
