Summer Intern 2025 - Environmental Health & Safety - Essex, VT

As a Summer Intern 2025 - Environmental Health & Safety at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will be provided supervised participation in coffee network initiatives for identifying and prioritizing risk reduction activities at site level. This includes machine risk assessments in coffee processing and coffee packaging areas as well as assist in day-to-day activities of the department; assisting in coordination and preparation of reports, training manuals, and programs; assisting with industrial hygiene (IH) assessments such as air monitoring, air permitting and noise surveys and job hazard analysis. This experience will include both Environmental compliance and Health and Safety programs.

Shift/Schedule:

  • The KDP 2025 Summer Intern Program will run June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025
  • Full-time; 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am until 5:00pm
  • In-Person

As a Environmental Health & Safety Intern you will have exposure to:

  • Assisting sites in completing weekly and monthly compliance related activities
  • Risk communication
  • Regulatory affairs management
  • Building EHS management systems

Elements of the KDP Intern Program include:

  • Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a challenging, cross functional team environment
  • Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
  • Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
  • Be paired with a mentor to enhance your knowledge of other parts of the business and build your network
  • Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department vice president and other KDP stakeholders

Requirements

  • Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, in Junior or Senior year, majoring in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Safety and Health, Safety Health and Applied Sciences, Occupational Health or another related field
  • Available to work 40 hours per week (M-F, 8am-5pm)
  • Data Analysis: Skills in analyzing EHS data to identify trends and develop preventive measures
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey EHS information
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to provide corrective actions and solutions to EHS-related issues
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with using EHS software and common office applications like Excel and PowerPoint
