Job Overview:

A Principal QEHS Specialist (Quality, Environmental Health & Safety Specialist) is a professional responsible for supporting the daily operational and implementation needs of the QEHS programs across Supply Chain operations.

Location: This is a remote position with up to 25% travel. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic projects and programs across the KDP Enterprise with a specific focus on training programs for Quality, Food Safety and EHS training within our Supply Chain and DSD organizations.
  • Partner with functional leaders and external vendors to ensure KDPs training plans adhere to regulatory, KDP policy, and partner standards.
  • Ensure training materials are engaging and accurate by partnering with site resources, QEHS leadership, and internal subject matter experts.
  • Communicate compliance metrics, gaps and needs to Senior Leaders.
  • Personally drive continuous improvement of our training process, tools, and technologies. Current examples include automating reporting processes and managing content translation needs.
  • Lead the development of a support strategy for administrators in our LMS. This will include resource planning, documentation, and vendor support.
  • Develop the long term strategy and vision for front line Quality, Food Safety, and EHS training. This strategy will include expanding the use of standard tools and processes and driving effectiveness and efficiency of time spent on QEHS training.
  • Keep current with latest technologies and learning methods.
  • Oversee the relationship with our training vendors, ensuring they are providing quality service. Set standards, provide feedback, and represent the business needs in RFPs and contract negotiations.
  • Manage the annual budget development and capital planning for QEHS training needs.

  • Experience improving Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other complex data management systems
  • Understanding of quality and EHS regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to successfully lead large organizational change that achieves sustained technical, organizational, and cultural improvement.
  • Strong analytical ability, capable of analyzing data and trends to create short, medium, and long-term strategies.
  • Ability to make and deliver effective communications on complex topics to top management, large and small groups at all levels, internal and external.
  • Familiarity with Quality, Food Safety, and EHS training requirements required.
  • Demonstrated experience creating successful training materials required. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant Supply Chain, Training, or QEHS experience
  • Experience working with Functional Leaders on strategic level programs/projects required. Experience working with Quality/EHS in a CPG environment preferred
  • Experience working across multiple geographic and/or functional area teams
  • Experience working in a complex corporate environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
