Job Overview:

The Manager, Sales Planning and Analytics is the analytics lead for the Kroger Non-Carb and WD Cold portfolios, delivering business performance reporting, forecasting, and insights that drive customer strategy, business planning, and sales execution. This role transforms data into actionable recommendations that improve decision-making, accelerate growth, and strengthen KDP's partnership with Kroger.

The role also provides direct leadership, with responsibility for coaching, development, and building team capability. This position partners closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams across Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, and the broader Commercial organization.

This is a hybrid role based in Cincinnati, Ohio.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Management and Reporting

  • Own reporting infrastructure, including KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards
  • Ensure consistent visibility into business performance and underlying performance drivers
  • Continuously enhance reporting tools and processes to improve speed, usability, and decision-making

Category & Market Insights

  • Leverage consumer and category insights to inform business decisions and strengthen go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, and category performance to identify risks, opportunities, and growth levers
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that enhance execution and improve business performance at Kroger

Forecasting

  • Lead consumption forecasting for the Kroger Non-Carb business, improving accuracy and assumptions in partnership with Sales
  • Track forecast performance and refine inputs to improve planning outcomes

Strategic Insights & Business Planning

  • Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready business recommendations & presentations
  • Support annual planning, customer reviews, and strategic initiatives with actionable insights
  • Present findings to the customer, sales leadership, and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and decision-making

People Leadership & Development

  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development to analyst team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
  • Establish clear priorities, provide regular feedback, and support career development
  • Build team capability by sharing analytical best practices, improving processes, and promoting collaboration

Total Rewards:
  • Salary range $96,800 - $133,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Prefer experience in “Fortune 500” company or in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
  • Experience successfully developing sales plans and executing via an effective sales strategy
  • Proficiency in syndicated data, Excel and data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience translating data into actionable business recommendations for leadership audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders across functions
  • Excellent written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
