Quality Manager

As a Quality Manager - Quality Systems & Standards, you will lead the processes, systems, and programs that ensure quality information and controlled documents are maintained accurately and efficiently across all coffee manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key partner to Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, R&D, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, customer requirements, and company standardsrelated to the maintenance and management of controlled documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer, supplier, regulatory, and internal quality information requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

• Lead document control activities for quality policies, procedures, work instructions

• Lead the management of quality information requests, leveraging system administration expertise and developing deep quality process knowledge to improve response accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction while supporting compliance and continuous improvement initiatives 

• Lead regular (at least monthly) document control user forums to communicate process updates, solicit stakeholder feedback, verify training compliance, track document revision progress, and drive continuous improvement of document management practices.

• Drive, administer, and continuously improve electronic Quality Management and Document Management Systems.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to monitor quality system effectiveness, compliance performance, audit readiness, and quality information request service-level metrics.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, verify, and communicate information and expectations relative to document control requirements and performance

• Support internal, customer, certification, and regulatory audits through effective document and record management.

• Analyze quality document management system performance data to identify trends, drive process improvements, and improve operational efficiency.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, automation, and data-driven decision making.

• Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and quality standards, including GMPs, HACCP, GFSI, FDA requirements, and customer specifications.

• Manage and develop Quality Systems and Document Control stakeholders while fostering a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Salary Range: $96,800- $130,000
• Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

• Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Document Control, or Regulatory Compliance within food or beverage manufacturing.

• Experience managing document control and quality management systems.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP, GFSI, GMPs, and FDA regulations.

• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.

• Proven analytical, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in coffee, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.

• ASQ certification (CMQ/OE, CQA, or similar).

• Experience with ETQ, SAP, SharePoint, or comparable enterprise systems.

• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and workflow automation solutions.
