KDP is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Innovation Associate Brand Manager with a passion for innovation and a track record of success. This Innovation Associate Brand Manager will turn insights into

action to drive new product innovation, from concept to launch, as we expand the range of beverage experiences consumers can enjoy at home. This includes opportunity identification and innovation strategy.

Additionally, this person will play a role in improving how we innovate as a beverage business, focusing on a consumer and customer-centric model that is nimble and agile. Consumers and customer needs are

constantly evolving - we must be faster and more creative in how we work together as innovators. You will champion collaboration across Marketing, R&D, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Legal/Regulatory.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in marketing and/or innovation in a consumer and brand-centric business, with a significant portion of that time spent developing and executing innovation growth strategies for your business. You should have a strong analytic skillset, syndicated data experience, solid financial grounding, and a working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research protocols. 

Location:  KDP Headquarters, Burlington, MA.  Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home)

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the domestic and global marketplace for new product innovations, competitor actions, lifestyle trends, consumer and market trend insights, and emerging technologies.
  • Collide this stimulus from the marketplace with market research, analysis and varied internal and external perspectives to define rich territories for innovation with deep grounding in consumer needs, attitudes, and behaviors.
  • Apply consumer insights and market research to gain understanding of consumer, customer, channel, and competitive environment for the product or category.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovation strategies, launch new products and brands, and meet required business objectives.
  • Identify market research plans to support and influence strategic plans.
  • Conduct and analyze consumer research to determine new marketing and product opportunities and to validate new products and programs.
  • Apply consumer insights and market research to gain understanding of consumer, customer, channel, and competitive environment for the product or category.
  • Create and present the business case for new products and projects to support innovation strategies.
  • Collaborate with KDP strategy, consumer insights, brand marketing, and commercial teams to scope and create the business case for prioritizing innovation investments. Make recommendations regarding product objectives and strategy, positioning, pricing, packaging, and product lifecycle.
  • Develop strategic analyses to assess and measure new product launch success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to ensure successful execution of the marketing strategy and brand equity building activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 1-2 years in Marketing positions in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company, with some experience in new product development.
  • Passion for the Keurig brand and coffee category, high energy, and willingness to “roll up the sleeves” to get work done.
