The Quality Technician II is responsible for performing standardized qualitative and quantitative tests on work-in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with company and/or customer quality standards.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position working from 6:00pm - 6:00am, on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct organoleptic, analytical, and microbiological tests at various stages of receiving, compounding, and packaging to ensure compliance with standards.
- Approve batches for packaging and perform additional analysis as needed for non-conforming products.
- Calculate batch adjustments as needed for certain products.
- Maintain test results and supporting documentation in SAP.
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- File and maintain retained samples.
- Inspect and audit a GMP production environment to assure compliance to quality procedures / protocols.
- Will learn HAACP standards and SAP if no prior experience
Total Rewards
- Pay starting at $26.16 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. The employee will move to a higher rate of $27.58 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in a Chemistry or Food Science field preferred. This may be substituted with 2+ years of experience in a chemistry laboratory setting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- HPLC experience is highly preferred
- Drive to learn and solve problems
- Teamwork oriented
- Capable to work independently, prioritize, and manage time
