Location: 6135 Anderson Mill Rd,Moore,South Carolina,29369

Shift & Schedule: We have N1 and N2 schedules available:

  • Nights 1  Shift | Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Saturdays, 6:30PM - 7:00AM
  • Nights 2  Shift | Wednesday-Friday and alternating Saturdays, 6:30PM - 7:00AM

Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

About the Facility

The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility in addition to hosting a full beverage distribution center. Spartanburg is the largest KDP manufacturing and distribution location. The site operates on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and leverages Lean Manufacturing practices. All associates have accountability to both their functional business unit and the overall site operation. The facility utilizes first-in-class enterprise IT systems, manufacturing execution systems, and highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP's high standards in safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on highly automated K-Cup manufacturing and packaging equipment.

  • Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures and perform repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.

  • Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors, motor starters, and production equipment.

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

  • Wire moderately complex control circuits and electrical systems.

  • Complete equipment setups, adjustments, changeovers, and centerlining activities.

  • Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance and TPM initiatives.

  • Fabricate, repair, and install equipment components, hangers, and piping systems including hot water, cold water, steam, process, and condensate systems.

  • Fabricate or replicate minor components for equipment repair and replacement.

  • Troubleshoot and support liquid fillers, packaging equipment, and automated manufacturing systems.

  • Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and control failures and implement effective corrective actions with minimal supervision.

  • Troubleshoot and make minor program modifications to Allen Bradley PLC platforms including SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix.

  • Review maintenance documentation and accurately record work activities within the maintenance management system.

  • Properly utilize maintenance inventory systems and parts tracking processes.

  • Generate productivity improvements and continuous improvement ideas that support operational excellence.

  • Assist in training and coaching maintenance team members and operators on best practices.

  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures, including GMP and Food Safety requirements.

  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Total Rewards:
  • Starting pay: $36.87 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $38.73 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase electrical systems, motor starters, controls, and electronic circuit boards.

  • Ability to read and interpret repair instructions, blueprints, schematics, flowcharts, and technical documentation.

  • Experience using computerized maintenance systems, email, maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts lists.

  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

  • Packaging, food and beverage, or high-speed manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop.

  • Ability to repetitively lift, twist, stretch, and reach overhead.

  • Ability to stand and walk throughout a 12-hour shift.

  • Work in compliance with OSHA regulations and plant safety requirements.
