The Sales Planning & Analytics Coordinator is a critical member of the National Retail Sales team, responsible for delivering comprehensive analytical and administrative support to drive revenue growth and operational excellence. This role combines strong data analysis capabilities with process management expertise to support sales planning, pricing execution, promotional tracking, and customer development initiatives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales Leadership, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Supply Chain, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen, Margin Miner) and internal systems to analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting dashboards for sales performance, pricing, and promotional activity.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to develop forecasts and recommend adjustments based on attainment and market dynamics.
- Support development of annual sales plans by analyzing category trends and portfolio performance.
Pricing & Offer Management
- Submit and maintain pricing and promotional offers in customer systems, ensuring compliance with SOPs and deadlines.
- Act as subject matter expert on pricing processes, coupon submissions, and promotional offer tracking.
- Conduct monthly pricing reviews and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with buyers and internal teams.
New Item Setup & Customer Support
- Manage new item setup processes, including pricing submissions and sample coordination for customer meetings and category resets.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and ensure timely delivery of requested items for merchandising and promotional events.
Promotional & Trade Spend Management
- Input and track promotional invoices, bill-backs, and trade spend data in internal systems (POP, Vistex).
- Ensure alignment between internal promotional calendars and customer systems, maintaining accuracy across platforms.
Data Integrity & Process Optimization
- Maintain and update internal pricing matrices, promotional databases, and sales tracking tools.
- Review and resolve system issues (DEX reports, scanning errors) to ensure smooth execution of sales programs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data accuracy across systems.
Total Rewards:
- Salary range $62,500 - $95,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent expereince.
- 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, category management, or trade operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with CRM tools and syndicated data systems (IRI, Nielsen).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
