Job Overview:

TheTerritory Sales Manager(TSM)As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll serve as the primary point of contact between Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) and its independent bottler network within a defined geography. The role blends strategic sales planning with financial analysis and operational execution, requiring both relationship-building skills and analytical acumen.This specific role will be approximately 60% analyst with accounts payables responsibility, and 40% trade orientedIt will be a path forward, with training for higher level sales roles.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Market Growth:
  • Drive sales of KDP’s full beverage portfolio within assigned territory.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities with bottler partners.
  • Financial Management:
  • Assist management to process bottler invoices and manage budget allocations.
  • Track and analyze spend, assess ROI of programs, and evaluate P&L statements.
  • Ensure alignment with financial objectives and market returns.
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure invoicing & budget allocation is done timely
  • Strategic Execution:
  • Translate company strategy into local action plans.
  • Address market-specific challenges with tailored solutions.
  • Influence cross-functional internal teams and bottling partners.
  • Relationship Development:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with independent bottlers and retail partners.
  • Serve as a brand advocate by introducing unique customer-facing initiatives.

Requirements:

 Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of CPG sales, channel strategy, or territory management.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, ROI calculation, and budget oversight.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to problem-solve in dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with market data, category insights, and retail execution tactics.

 Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimal Experience in sales/account management within the beverage, CPG, or distribution industries.
  • Proficient in tools like Excel, Power BI, or sales analytics platforms.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and work independently.
  • A business degree or relevant field preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience working successfully within the constraints of a growing business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Syndicated Data
