Job Overview:
Sr. Principal Release Train Engineer (RTE)
As a Sr. Principal Release Train Engineer (RTE) within KDP Tech's Enterprise Data & Analytics organization, you’ll lead and orchestrate enterprise-scale delivery across a complex Agile Release Train (ART). You will connect strategy to delivery of value by leading Planning Increments (PIs) for data and analytics spanning value outcomes across global Supply Chain, Corporate Finance and Commercial. This dynamic role a strategic role focusing on continuous improvement while driving innovation across complex, multi-team value streams. 
Core Responsibilities:
• Lead PI Planning, system demos, release readiness activities, and retrospectives understanding interdependencies across eth ART and raising risks and issues while helping develop mitigation plans.
• Track and analyze Agile Release Train metrics and financials focused on driving value and progressive improvement to senior leadership.
• Champion SAFe and complementary frameworks across the organization.
• Mentor key stakeholders such as Scrum Masters and Product Owners while modeling servant leadership and systems thinking aross the ART.
• Identify when needed and lead ART-level continuous-improvement workshops.
• Identify and drive enterprise process re-engineering opportunities to reduce waste,  and increase delivery velocity and achieve value.
• Align ART objectives with portfolio strategies, organizational mission, values, and goals.
• Build strong team dynamics and cross-functional collaboration.
• Remove impediments and escalate to leadership when necessary.

Skills:
• Expert knowledge of SAFe and full product life cycle management.
• Expert proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, XP, and Lean principles.
• Strong acumen in the data and analytics area such as modern data stacks (cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, etc.; orchestration tools like Informatica; BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Expert in Lean Agile frameworks such as SAFe
• String technical and business acumen to align delivery with organizational strategy.
• StrongScrum facilitator with deep Agile team experience.
• Expert in progress tracking and reporting with Jira, AgilePlace, and Power BI.
• Expert in Agile estimation and planning.


Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $195,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors.
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Five or more years of experience in Agile delivery.
• Two or more years as a Release Train Engineer or equivalent program-level leader.
• Proven leadership of a complex Agile Release Train of 6 or more teams.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and a reporting platform such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management.
• Executive presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), RTE, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Background in Lean Portfolio Management.
• Exposure to multiple scaled frameworks such as SAFe with OKR alignment or LeSS.
• Strong facilitation skills with distributed and hybrid teams.
