Job Overview:

This position assists with the administration and design of retirement programs. This position requires a high degree of organization and internal and external collaboration. The Sr. Benefit Analyst works closely with the Benefit Operations team to execute the strategies being implemented by KDP on both the Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. This position also assists with the open enrollment processes and works closely with ERISA Counsel on retirement plan matters.

This position is a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX, with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in vendor management for DC, DB, & SSP retirement plans.
  • Assists with RFI/RFP project management and new vendor implementation.
  • Assists in ongoing Plan Compliance.
  • Assists with NDT testing, 5500 review, & Defined Benefit census reconciliation
  • Propose benefit strategy with cost analysis comparisons, requiring an understanding of both qualified retirement and non-qualified retirement plans.
  • Must be able to review and understand Collective Bargaining Agreements, Summary Plan Descriptions, & Plan Documents.
  • Research and analyze benefit offerings.
  • Assist in Internal Plan Audits/Special Projects
  • Provide SOX Controls- monthly, quarterly, and annual controls.
  • Annual enrollment support.
  • Review and Record invoice log from all vendors.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $76,400-99,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of related retirement benefits experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong focus on numbers and analytics
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to Retirement Benefits
  • Must have strong inclination and comfort with complex spreadsheets and calculations
  • Experience producing deliverables in a fast paced, time sensitive, highly responsive environment  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including large group presentations
  • Excellent proficiency with Excel functions and formulas
  • Some travel may be required.

Prefered Skills/Experience:

  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or CEBS Designation or currently in process
  • Prior benefits analyst, benefits management, or benefits broker experience
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA
  • Workday HCM a plus
