This leadership includes: an experienced Chief Marketing Officer that has been elevated to the executive leadership team, a talented SVP of Media, and new VP leadership in Data Science and Marketing Technology. We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to lead our marketing efforts on our newly acquired Drink Mix Portfolio. You will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic fast growing category with a mix of new and iconic brands that are loved by millions of consumers, and your strategic thought leadership and ability to work with diverse teams to develop and execute marketing plans will be instrumental in achieving outsized growth.
What You’ll Do:
At KDP, our Senior Brand Managers are leaders who have challenger mindsets. They put the consumer at the heart of everything they do, and they lead with a General Management approach. In this role, you will:
- Drive the development of your brands’ strategies, establishing its vision and growth objectives by leveraging consumer insights, category and consumer trends, and your deep understanding of our competition and the needs of our customers
- Develop a multi-year drink mix portfolio strategy that identifies areas of future growth, roles of each of the brands, defined category objectives and allocation of resources to deliver against the objectives.
- Lead from the front and strategically allocate resources – both dollars and people – to achieve goals
- Lead and partner with communications, insights, and commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, build plans and execute world class marketing programs
- Own your portfolio’s integrated communications strategy from briefing to optimization to measurement. You will tap into expertise from agencies and media partners to deliver communications plans that penetrate culture.
- Be the face of your portfolio, championing your growth initiatives rooted in consumer needs and keen business expertise
- Partner closely with commercial teams and operate in an organization with P&L responsibility
- Manage the relationship with licensed partners, providing business updates, strategic growth plans and ensuring master TM equity is carried through to drink mix.
Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $130,700-$180,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
We are looking for leaders who have the drive and desire to make a big impact, who are motivated by results, who thrive at working with diverse teams to tackle big challenges, and who have a true passion for marketing.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA is preferred
- 4-5 years of brand marketing or brand management experience. CPG/Beverage experience from a Fortune 500 CPG company preferred.
- A general manager mindset where you exhibit data influenced decision making and measurement
- Exceptional team leader with a commanding presence and an ability to influence across functions, leadership levels and customer teams
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, reacting with sound judgement and often without specific direction
- Expertise in developing and implementing brand strategies based on consumer insights, market data, category trends, and the competitive environment
- Proficient at flexing between strategic planning and tactical planning
- This role is based at the KDP headquarters in Frisco, Texas. Relocation to Greater Dallas, TX area is required with 10%-15% travel.
