CAR & LCCP Support
• Review lease-related CAR’s by validating financial inputs, lease terms, and budget alignment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of lease data in reporting.
• Create and maintain LCCPs and ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and lease accounting treatment in coordination with Capital Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Managers.
Close, Reporting & Controls
• Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries, and reconciliations with clear documentation to support audit and SOX requirements.
• Prepare lease-related reports and disclosures for external reporting, forecasts, and financial statement support.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing audit documentation.
• Own and execute key SOX controls related to lease accounting, including identification of control deficiencies and remediation activities.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Process Improvement
• Act as a subject matter expert by educating and advising business partners on lease structuring and accounting implications.
• Identify recurring process gaps or data issues and lead enhancements to systems, policies, or workflows.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Facilities, Fleet, Procurement, IT, and Legal to ensure accurate lease execution and accounting.
• Participate in lease policy updates and special projects by identifying opportunities for process and system improvements and leading the implementation of approved changes.
