Internal Audit and Compliance Manager – Frisco, TX
Keurig Dr Pepper is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Internal Audit and Compliance Manager, who excels in the face of challenging circumstances and is looking for opportunities to contribute significant value to an exciting, fast-paced, and evolving Fortune 500 company.
RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES:
***This role will be based out of our Frisco, Texas location working onsite 3 days per week and 2 days remote. ***
The Internal Audit and Compliance Manager will:
- Demonstrate internal audit expertise through the proficient application of IIA standards (IPPF), leading practice frameworks (COSO), and business acumen.
- Advise management in designing and maintaining a robust and efficient internal control environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the business, accounting, complex processes, regulations, legislation, and risk and controls design theory to support the business process owners in implementing the organization’s compliance and ethics programs.
- Collaborate with business unit managers and process owners to ensure they understand their responsibilities for establishing and maintaining operating and financial controls, including SOX requirements. Ensure that all required SOX process documentation is complete, accurate, and updated regularly.
- Monitor management’s effectiveness in achieving and maintaining a sound internal control environment following established company policies and legal requirements, including review of SOX control testing.
- Oversee and execute internal audit projects, including risk-based audits, process evaluations, and control assessments to identify operational efficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Where necessary, explore fraud and misconduct associated with business operations based on collaboration with Legal.
- Continuously assess and enhance audit processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in line with industry best practices and the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards.
- Support the annual planning process including the risk assessment process, providing reporting and risk trends for the department and key stakeholders.
- This individual will play a key role in driving positive change by promoting awareness and education around internal controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Internal Audit, from an accredited college or university
- 6+ years of internal audit and SOX compliance experience, with majority of experience spent within an established internal audit department and/or professional services firm
- One or more audit-related certifications (CIA, CPA, CFE) preferred
- Experience with developing/deploying data analytics is a plus
- Fluency is Spanish and/or French is a plus
- Up to 10% travel may be required
