Job Overview:

The Senior Director, Integrated Social and communication will be responsible for driving consumer share of mind and elevating the love of Keurig Dr Pepper brands through a cohesive, insights-driven strategy that unifies organic social execution, culture/influencer marketing, and social intelligence.


An effective, integrated social function will bring together social intelligence, culture/influencer marketing, content strategy and content development to help drive organic social conversation of KDP brands among fans and consumers.   

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute Keurig Dr Pepper’s holistic social strategy

  • Partner with brand managers to develop and implement a social communications strategy aligned with overarching brand identity, objectives, and business goals
  • Oversee the development & ongoing management of the annual content calendar at the portfolio level, ensuring alignment with key brand initiatives, product launches, and seasonal campaigns
  • Connect social strategy to applicable aspects of the business, ensuring consistency in mechanisms of communication across brands
  • Oversee the required key assets (website, social) to guide communication and creative outputs

Lead the coordination of social intelligence, content strategy and culture/influencer strategy to launch and optimize effective social-led communications campaigns

  • Social Intelligence
    • Oversee social intelligence function that uses panoramic listening across social, search, behavioral, and emotional signals to answer key business questions and contribute to content strategy (e.g., inclusive of video, memes, etc.)
    • Closely monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities, including the identification of white spaces to illuminate the portfolio-level and brand-level messages
    • Use audience lexicon + competitor voice + influential voices to determine where KDP can meaningfully and authentically participate in timely, cultural moments
  • Culture/Influencer Marketing
    • Oversee portfolio-level influencer strategy that amplifies company growth, builds lasting partnerships, and delivers measurable outcomes
    • Monitor and analyze cultural and entertainment trends, in coordination with social intelligence, to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for brand engagement
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key creators, influencers, artists, cultural icons, and entertainment partners, including film studios, television networks, musicians, gaming, and streaming platforms
    • Manage the end-to-end operations of influencer/talent and integration into marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency, integrity, and alignment across all culture and entertainment marketing activities
    • Ensure casting & vetting, offers & negotiations, and partner management are consistent across the portfolio
  • Content Strategy
    • Lead the creation of engaging, strategic, and data-driven content across social media platforms
    • Use audience insights for cross-channel and cross-platform planning
    • Work strategically and collaboratively with cross-functional teams across paid media, events, marketing, sponsorships, and other parts of the KDP organization as well as agency partners; includes work with SEO team to optimize content for search engines (paid search, social search)
    • Create efficient content creation processes and work with agency partners to optimize content engine

Measurement & Management

  • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs to monitor performance of integrated social function and ensure metrics are used to make data-driven decisions
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of social media professionals
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other marketing and brand teams to extend social reach and determine balance between organic and paid promotion
  • Track social and content to overall business goals, budget, and resources

Total Rewards:
  • $173,100 - $246,700
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off, 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
  • Long-term incentive equity based on eligibility

Requirements:
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree 
  • 10+ years of social media experience with 5+ years in leadership. 
  • Experience with key social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok 
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations 
  • Experience leading social and cultural marketing teams and managing the full lifecycle of a brand experience
  • Commercially and creatively minded
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well alone as well as with different departments across the business
  • Process driven and demonstrated ability to deliver in a timely manner
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, proactive, and driven
  • A self-starter with respect for others’ points of view
