Testing Technician II, Coffee Product Development

Test Technician II is responsible for executing established testing protocols in support of product quality, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Working under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, Test Technician II ensures all testing activities are performed accurately, safely, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Keurig Dr Pepper quality standards. The role requires consistent documentation and reporting of test results, observations, and abnormalities to support product performance analysis and quality investigations.

Successful candidates demonstrate strong initiative, a proactive mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and well‑developed problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 1st shift working 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required. 

Location: This role will be 100% onsite at our R&D Burlington, MA facility.

What You Will Do

  • Perform routine product testing in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and approved laboratory procedures.
  • Execute a variety of testing protocols to verify product quality, performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collect and prepare samples of raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished products for testing and evaluation.
  • Conduct routine and non‑routine analyses using validated test methods and documented laboratory procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, precision measurement instruments, and test fixtures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Accurately document, organize, and summarize quality and performance data using spreadsheets and electronic data collection systems; communicate results, trends, and anomalies to management.
  • Collaborate effectively with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams while working with moderate independence under professional supervision.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient laboratory and work environment in accordance with company and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with basic hand tools and data‑recording, communication, and reporting software.
  • Protect confidentiality of proprietary technologies, test methods, and industry‑leading programs.
  • Support laboratory inventory management, supply control, and related administrative activities as needed.
  • Adhere to all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures (including legacy Keurig Green Mountain requirements, as applicable).
  • Position does not normally require travel.

Total Rewards:
  • Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $28.00/hr
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
  • Technical Associate’s degree or relevant certification a plus
  • 2–5 years of experience in a product service, manufacturing, or test environment.
  • Solid quality background, including experience with inspection plans, test protocols, root cause analysis, and accurate data recording.
  • Proficiency with standard laboratory test and measurement instruments.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to use spreadsheet and database software effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and company management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Proven ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement activities, and follow established manufacturing and quality best practices.
