The Senior Engineering Manager, Maintenance of Business, will join Keurig Dr Pepper’s Global Product Organization to lead a cross-functional team responsible for Appliance New Product Quality, Field Quality and Analytics, as well as Sustaining and Productivity across the full Keurig appliance portfolio, including both At-Home and Away-from-Home product families.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership capability, along with a forward-thinking mindset to effectively drive global collaboration while ensuring quality remains at the forefront of all activities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping both current and future products, delivering measurable impact across the organization.
This position offers high visibility and significant growth opportunities within the Global Product Organization and broader Coffee Business Unit.
What you will do:
- Lead a cross-functional team spanning New Product Introduction Quality, Field Quality & Analytics, and Sustaining & Productivity for the global appliance portfolio.
- Refine and execute the Maintenance of Business strategy aligned to product roadmaps and business goals.
- Own the departmental budget, including OpEx and CapEx; drive forecasting, cost control, and resource prioritization.
- Partner cross-functionally (R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance) to drive change management and continuous improvement.
- Oversee field quality and sustaining engineering, including monitoring and responding to in-field performance metrics (e.g., return rates, consumer satisfaction and reviews), and driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous product improvements.
- Serve as a consumer champion, placing the consumer at the center of decision-making by leveraging field performance data, consumer feedback, and market insights to drive product quality, reliability, and overall user satisfaction.
- Leverage data, analytics, and statistical methods to improve product performance, reliability, and decision-making.
- Champion Design for Quality using risk management tools (FMEA, DOE, SPC) and robust V&V practices.
- Lead complex cross-functional problem-solving efforts using structured methodologies such as 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes to drive timely issue resolution and continuous product improvement.
- Establish and deliver year-over-year productivity, including cost savings, value engineering, and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with global contract manufacturers and suppliers to drive efficiency and production improvements.
- Standardize tools, processes, and best practices to scale engineering and quality effectiveness.
- Mentor and develop talent; foster a high-performance, accountable engineering culture.
- Communicate performance, risks, and strategy to senior leadership.
- Up to 15% international travel required.

Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $130,700 - $200,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product development, quality, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making, including statistical analysis and Six Sigma methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, A3, Design of Experiments); Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into executable plans and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Experience managing budgets (OpEx/CapEx), including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Strong background in product quality, field performance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with global manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-regional collaboration.
- Strong technical foundation across mechanical, electrical, and/or connected systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, drive accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
