Location: 45 Aspers North Road, Aspers, PA 17304

Shift & Schedule: This is a full-time, day shift position working Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Flexibility to provide additional coverage outside of these hours, including weekends and holidays, is required as business needs dictate.

The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for leading a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing operation with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee engagement. This role provides leadership and direction to Production Supervisors and manufacturing teams while partnering closely with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Warehousing to achieve operational and business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for continuous improvement, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a proactive safety culture focused on achieving zero incidents through active leadership, employee engagement, and compliance with all safety programs and training.

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and on time while meeting customer service expectations.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing standardized work, Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

  • Develop and execute TPM initiatives aligned with the KDP playbook to improve equipment reliability and overall operational performance.

  • Optimize staffing levels to meet production demands while developing a flexible, cross-trained workforce.

  • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork that reflects KDP values.

  • Lead Lean, Kaizen, and focused improvement events to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and eliminate waste.

  • Communicate performance expectations, coach and develop employees, administer performance management when appropriate, and build leadership bench strength.

  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive results.

  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Engineering, and Warehousing to achieve business objectives.


Total Rewards:
  • Targeted annual compensation range of $95,500 - $115,000.
  • This is a salaried, exempt position paid biweekly. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Engineering or other technical degree preferred. Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience leading Lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, Six Sigma methodologies, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, and Visual Factory Management.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and interpreting operational data and basic statistics.

  • Demonstrated success developing, coaching, and leading high-performing teams.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
