Location: 7352 Industrial Blvd, Allentown, Pennsylvania, 18106
Shift & Schedule: Full-time | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
The Quality Technician II is responsible for conducting standardized qualitative and quantitative testing on in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform organoleptic, analytical, and microbiological tests throughout receiving, compounding, and packaging stages.
Approve batches for packaging and perform additional analysis for non-conforming products.
Calculate batch adjustments as required.
Record test results and supporting documentation in SAP.
Calibrate, clean, and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation.
File and manage retained samples.
Conduct GMP audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
Learn and apply HACCP standards and SAP systems (training provided if no prior experience).
Total Rewards:
Starting pay: $26.94/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
Wage increase: $28.41/hour effective the quarter following your 6-month anniversary

Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field preferred (or 2+ years of experience in a chemistry lab setting).
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
HPLC experience highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a team setting.
