Job Description



The Warehouse Manager has overall responsibility for planning and logistics of packaged beverage products that comply with quality standards and meet customer demand in a safe working environment.  This manager is responsible for developing and supporting multiple supervisors, leads, office staff, and material handlers across 3 shifts.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead thru CI (Continuous Improvement) methods – Implementing and utilizing visual management, A3 processes, and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Drive engagement though all levels in the organization
  • Exceed warehouse KPIs, including safety, quality, efficiency, and cost per case
  • Work with others to establish the strategy for the Warehouse
  • Implement best practices and deliver on strategic initiatives.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and processes that enhance safety, efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain a great work environment.
  • Act as member of the Sacramento Operations Leadership Team and be a role model for KDP Principles and Code of Ethics.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, safety, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain the budget, forecasting costs and capacity, and conducting regular analysis of financials and performance metrics.
  • Ensure Safety and regulatory compliance standards are met.

  Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Knowledge of the food & beverage industry
  • Demonstrated understanding and proven implementation of TPM / 5S.
  • Excellent SAP, MS Office, and computer skills
  • Demonstrated supervisory, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Established financial acumen, including P&L ownership
  • Strong Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Data driven and KPI oriented decision making


Requirements

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience including Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • 5 years of managing Supervisors in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of analyzing data associated with processes, identifying opportunities, and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Working understanding of Occupational Safety Regulations
  • Dynamic leadership experience
