Job Description



Utility Worker

The Utility Worker is responsible for building product orders and loading delivery trucks, merchandising in stores, and delivering in a tractor trailer. 

Compensation and Benefits

Shift and Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 5:00am until shift is finished
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Local routes

Position Responsibilities

  • Local Relief Drivers are responsible for delivering our products to small and large retailers on various routes
  • They will manually unload their trucks using a hand dolly, build rapport with our customers, and stock shelves and coolers as requested by the customer.
  • No previous experience is required and Relief Drivers will receive hands-on training upon hire. 
  • Local Relief Drivers may also be assigned merchandising and warehouse responsibilities as needed
  • Pick and audit orders by using a voice pick system to build loads for transport, bulk and/or route trucks, using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack with accuracy.
  • Load trucks, stock floor and maintain return product and empties pallets and shelves.
  • Maintain the stability of the pallet by properly stacking and shrink wrapping the built pallet.
  • Unload returned product and pallets.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse.



Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License A (CDL A)
  • Have the use of a personal vehicle for merchandising
  • Ability to maintain valid DOT Driver Qualification File
