Truck Checker

Inventory support position responsible for counting the quantity of cases on trucks, verifying the accuracy of loading sheets, and completing settlement sheets. Also responsible for general housekeeping warehouse duties in the warehouse and yard area, including repacking product, handling damaged product, and operating an electric pallet jack and fork lift operator when needed. Other duties as assigned.

Shift/Schedule:

This is a full time permanent position working from 7:30am until 4:30pm (or finished), Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as it maybe required by the business.

Pay Rate:

The pay for this role is $14.70/hr. Paid weekly. Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, etc.) available starting DAY 1.

Position Responsibilities

  • Physically count inventory on outbound and inbound trucks of product.
  • Verify accuracy of inventory count and loading sheets.
  • Verify the completion of settlement sheets.
  • Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Possess understanding of production equipment so it can be properly cleaned and operated.
  • Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
  • Accurately pick products by matching numbers and product descriptions.  Hand stacks cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively from floor to over-head throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Place the beverage products in a defined stacking pattern onto the pallet.
  • Hand shrink wrap customer orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock staging area using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment.
  • Report all product discrepancies or quality issues to supervision including damaged product, wrong store number, equipment issues, etc.
  • Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment to include general housekeeping warehouse duties.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly
  • Valid driver’s license
