Job Description



This position is responsible for the settlement processing of National Account (NA) expenses to allocate the total expense to our Route-to-Market (CASO, PASO, ISO and PB) Sales Systems. This includes processing settlements in the Siebel (TPM), intercompany journal entries and generating required invoices in the Marketing Funds System (MF). This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that the proper entries have been posted to SAP in regards to NA settlements.

Ensure settlements comply with Keurig Dr Pepper policy, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently. The candidate must also have the ability to make decisions in regarding to the NA settlement process and subsequently support the decision based on Keurig Dr Pepper policies.

Accounting:

  • Process NA expenses to allocate the total expense to our Route-to-Market (CASO, PASO, ISO and PB) Sales Systems including auditing the request for accuracy, compliance with DPSG policy, GAAP and SOX.
  • Ensure bottler / retailer transactions are processed accurately and on a timely basis in Siebel, MF and SAP, including verification of rates, brands, and bottler settlement preferences
  • Ensure all NA settlements are reconciled between the sub-ledgers (Siebel and MF) and SAP.
  • Maintain settlement documentation as required by DPSG policies and procedures to include MF invoices, Siebel settlement detail, intercompany journal entries, retailer’s invoice and NA settlement matrix.
  • Process write-off entries related to unpaid NA bottler invoices.

Sales Support:

  • Provide effective Sales support while holding parties accountable for providing the necessary documentation for processing NA settlements.
  • Communicate and resolve issues/discrepancies related to the NA settlement process, including providing feedback and training to sales teams if applicable.
  • Resolve inquiries related to NA settlement entries.

Process Improvements:

  • Prepare and support other initiatives as assigned.
  • Support implementation of improvements to processes and systems.
  • Identify, document and communicate process improvements for the NA settlement process.


Requirements

  • Education/Experience – Business related degree preferred and/or 2-3 years experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel and SAP.
  • Ability to research and resolve General Ledger / TPM reconciling errors.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
