Job Description

As a part of the Tax team, the intern support members and learn the day-to-day operations of a corporate tax department.

Looking for an intern who could commit 8-16 hours a week for a year (including summer months). Days and times are flexible, but candidate must be able to commit to 8 – 16 hours a week.

As a Tax Intern you will:

  • Manage daily incoming tax mail. Including sorting, filing, routing and potentially resolving.
  • Prepare tax journal entries and reconciliations
  • Gather materials to assist with audit defenses
  • Assist federal, state, and tax accounting groups efforts including:
    • Data collection, validation, and timing
    • Tax compliance support
    • Account analysis and reconciliations
    • Tax audit support including responses to tax notices
    • Tax planning, research and analyses
    • Special projects including automation of tax processes
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects as required
  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures


  • Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in accounting, finance, related majors
  • Preferably a sophomore or junior who has already taken accounting and tax coursework
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, is independently driven, and a self-starter
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Able to work for a year, part-time
  • Must be able to commit 8-16 hours a week throughout the year (including summer months). Days and times flexible
