Job Description

KDP Ireland – a leading producer and distributor of hot and cold beverages – is excited to announce the establishment of a new beverage concentrate manufacturing facility in County Kildare, outside of Dublin, in Ireland. We’re now looking for great talent to build our Ireland team to work in this new best-in-class facility.

As the Supply Chain Planner, you will manage all material aspects inside of your assigned value stream. These components include the production planning, WIP scheduling, and purchasing of raw materials and managing the schedule changes that occur. You will be accountable for all material settings within your value stream, including Min/Max settings, safety stock, routings, and appropriate lot sizing. You will coordinate with all shifts and supervisors within your value stream as well as the Customer Service & Operations (CS&O) team.

In addition, you will determine an agreed operational plan which delivers the right quantity of the right product to the right location at the right time, within agreed inventory policy, while ensuring efficient use of resources. You will be working in an SAP environment, developing production operating plans that maximize service levels and optimize supply chain costs. You will have the ability to conceptualize and work towards an integrated supply chain.

In the role of the Supply Chain Planner, you will:

  • Utilize sales forecasts, current inventory, manufacturing constraints, requests and promotional requirements to create detailed production schedules by production line for all finished goods.
  • Manage production inventories-raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Determine appropriate inventory required to meet distribution and sales needs.
  • Work with inbound logistics to ensure timely receipt of raw materials for production of finished product.
  • Purchase all raw materials for production in line with demand for finish goods sales and safety stock targets.
  • Monitor and investigate SAP transaction error logs from production and warehouse activities for accuracy.
  • Manage master data settings, including min/max, safety stock, and routings.


In order to be successful in the role of Supply Chain Planner, you will have:


  • Bachelors' in Business, Systems Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent would be desirable
  • Prior experience and understanding of Kanban and/or replenishment pool systems.
  • Prior experience in planning and purchasing for a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar MRP system.
  • Experience with Excel utilizing advanced functionality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
