The Procurement Senior Analyst, MRO

The Procurement Analyst, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operation) is responsible for strategic sourcing, long term planning and the contracting of goods and services. Snr Analyst supports or executes the project work and sourcing strategy either set by the senior level procurement staff or collective collaboration with key stakeholders within the context of Supplier Performance and Relationship Management. Additionally, the Snr Analyst will have sole responsibility for category management for some of the categories for MRO as determined with the senior level procurement staff.  The Procurement Snr Analyst is responsible for supplier negotiations, quality control around supplier performance, project planning and execution, and working as part of a cross-functional project team.  This position will participate in the preparation of RFIs and RFPs as part of the execution of annual strategy within an indirect category.  The Snr Analyst interacts closely with outside suppliers and internal departments in managing said supplier performance and relationships.  The Procurement Snr Analyst works within the guidelines and rules of Finance, Legal and Procurement to maintain fiscal standards, and participates in the training of new employees, both within and outside the department as requested. Collaborates with department heads and functional leaders to assure the most effective and efficient vendors, prices and practices are met.  Serve as first escalation point for supplier-related issues resolution.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with identified cross functional team members to develop and execute category or procurement sourcing strategies.
  • Master and execute procurement activities utilizing KDPs procurement ARIBA platform
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to drive cost saving project using business analytics capabilities
  • Actively support a healthy supplier portfolio, seek out new supplier relationships, monitor existing relationships, proactively participate in problem resolution and schedule site visits with key suppliers as deemed appropriate.
  • Work to gather specifications and requirements for goods and services, identify the best suppliers, and negotiate the procurement of goods, as well as service contracts within the overall Procurement standards and policies of Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP).
  • Proactively collaborate with internal departments and assist in identifying needs.
  • Influence KDP employees on policies and practices for procurement, as well as the legal and financial requirements and policies in making a purchase.
  • Manage and create an environment of strategic collaboration with KDPs preferred partners.
  • Solicit quotes, negotiate pricing and schedules, specify and confirm materials for any goods required and monitor deadlines and shipping requirements.
  • Acquire approvals (expenditure and legal), initiate purchase order process, and help to resolve issues with invoice approvals and service receipts in accordance with KDP policy and process.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews / vendor performance management strategy execution (periodically, includes strategic level vendor feedback) by leveraging the ARIBA SPM tool. Lead discussions on cross-functional performance metrics with supplier.
  • Lead and assist with complex, RFP's (Requests for Proposals) using ARIBA sourcing module
  • Participate in company committees for process improvement or cross functional interaction. 
  • Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by KDP and the department.

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Business-Related field from an accredited university or college preferred
  • 3-5 year(s) of experience as a buyer or analyst in a commercial setting, with prior experience dealing with both goods and service providers, as well as service contracts OR 2 years of other supply chain experience
  • 3-5 years of SAP/ ARIBA or similar ERP system
  • 3-5 years of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
