Keurig’s digital commerce properties deliver great experiences for our consumers whether they are learning about our products or managing their coffee subscriptions through our advanced Auto Delivery program.  We employ a broad range of commerce and marketing technologies on our site and consider it the lighthouse for our Keurig brand.   The site is one of the largest Direct to Consumer eCommerce sites in the US and Canada and we continue to invest heavily in ongoing development of new digital consumer experiences.  Our hybris-based capabilities, deployed in the Google Cloud Platform are at the center of that growth strategy and your role will be to help take our platform to the next level as part of our broader digital strategy.

The primary responsibility for this position will be leading the ongoing development of new capabilities as a leader in our integrated DevOps team which leverages both internal resources and technology partners operating in an on/offshore blended model.

What you will do:

  • Oversee a team of both internal and external resources driving the design, develop, and testing of frontend and backend components in our Java based SAP Hybris Web and Keurig Dr Pepper digital properties
  • Ensure the overall platform and individual components are built and operate in a performant and resource-efficient manner in a full cloud-based DevOps model
  • Support the integration of new technologies and capabilities into the platform – from MarTech/AdTech, to payment and security capabilities, to new experience capabilities
  • Work in partnership with our DevOps team supporting daily operational excellence
  • Interface with all Business Stakeholders to identify and document development requirements
  • Acquire new skills and knowledge to stay at the fore front of digital and Internet trends and technologies.


  What you must have:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science with focus on Digital/Web Development
  • Ten or more years’ experience in web site architecture, design and development.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile Development (preferably Scaled Agile) and DevOps models and their effective use in a mixed on/offshore development model
  • Expertise with the Java Development Language, Spring architecture, JavaScript, CSS and other web development technologies.
  • Experience with SAP Hybris Application Development using versions 6.x and above.
  • Experience with database design and technologies (CloudSQL, and MS SQL Server client applications)
  • Experience with Integration technologies (Web Services, XML, MuleSoft, ActiveMQ, ETL tools)
  • Disaster recovery, high-availability, failover and clustering design theory
  • Understanding of  IOT data and network technologies
  • Proficiency with the Atlassian toolset, Jenkins and other CI/CD technologies and code management.
  • Experience with range of performance testing technologies
  • Experience working with external development partners and business product owners
  • A passion for learning new technologies, applying technology in the solution of business problems and solving problems to root cause.
  • The ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments to establish goals, strategies, project plans and to get things done.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills are a must
