Job Description



The primary function of this position is to design, manage and implement health, welfare and wellness benefit programs that are aligned with Keurig Dr Pepper's business strategy and population health goals. Provide thought leadership around the strategic direction and design of these programs as well as drive changes necessary to move towards best practices, improve processes, and effectively engage all stakeholders, including business leaders, employees, unions and suppliers. This position works to ensure that programs enable Keurig Dr Pepper to attract and retain a talented diverse workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team in the design and implementation of Keurig Dr Pepper’s strategies for employee health and welfare benefit programs, designed to improve employee engagement and manage costs more effectively
  • Support the Labor Relations team by providing strategy and guidance before, during and after negotiations; Act a liaison between the Corporate Benefits, Administration and Labor Relations teams
  • Project management ownership accountability, including adhering to timelines, coordinating with other teams including the HR operations, payroll and HR technology teams, and ensuring a successful project implementation outcome
  • Identify and deploy targeted wellness programs that align with Keurig Dr Pepper's goals related to improving population health; Design and implement a wellness strategy that creates value among employees, influences overall health, and drives reduced long-term healthcare costs
  • Oversee performance and maintain relationships with various third party administrators to ensure compliance with all policies, service level agreements, laws and regulations and to ensure excellent customer service for all Keurig Dr Pepper participants
  • Be the subject matter expert of respective area for the Company
  • Prepare and present recommendations to human resources and other leaders, including unions, related to new offerings and changes to existing programs
  • Partner with finance and analytics team to develop metrics necessary to measure success of initiatives and to inform current performance
  • Monitor trends and advise management (and unions as requested) as to impact on Keurig Dr Pepper's benefit programs and resources
  • Lead a small team of benefits professionals for the company
  • Establish priorities and oversee workflow of the team
  • Coach and develop individual team members to foster growth and learning


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in subject matter related to employee benefit programs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategy development and effective execution of programs to deliver business results
  • Record of success in developing solutions in health and welfare and wellness arenas
  • Experience in a complex, corporate environment, particularly with unions
  • Experience creating and leading teams, motivating, coaching and developing high performers
    • Flexibility and ability to reprioritize deliverables as needed
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and work cross-functionally to support team on projects as needed
    • Ability to handle confidential colleague information with discretion and good judgment.
    • SAP/Workday HCM a plus
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, HR, health policy, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in leading major enterprise-wide health and welfare benefit program
  • Professional benefits certification such as Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
  • Masters in related area of study also preferred
  • Typical travel is up to 25%, must be flexible with requirement
