Senior Brand Manager, The Original Donut Shop® Coffee

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will lead The Original Donut Shop’s brand fundamentals development and marketing plan development/execution process.  This includes formulating and reviewing both short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the brand. You will develop marketing strategies and tactics to maximize brand penetration.  The Senior Brand Manager will also support the communication of the Donut Shop brand equity and new campaign. You will also work with other functions to deliver against marketing strategies and tactics. In addition, you will conduct competitive brand analysis and market research of brand consumer behavior, determining the profitability and viability of new and existing programs. The Senior Brand Manager will also be a key advocate for Donut Shop with cross-functional partners and across the entire organization. 

What you will do:

  • Lead key aspects of Donut Shop’s brand strategy, communications, and initiatives.
  • Help define and refine brand fundamentals, including overall equity, brand guidelines, and architecture. 
  • Provide short term and long term strategic direction.
  • Develop creative briefs to reflect brand strategy. 
  • Analyze insights, brand tracking data, sales information, projections, and other meaningful information to inform marketing plans development and execution.  
  • Recommend marketing support plans for brand.
  • Coordinate promotions and advertising efforts of brand.
  • Lead and drive cross-functional team alignment.
  • Develop and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Participate in key sales and marketing presentations.
  • Work collaboratively and consult with/influence cross-functional partners.  
  • Manage and coach an Assistant Brand Manager.


Requirements

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 15 years of experience in brand management/marketing, MBA and minimum 7 years of experience in brand management/marketing
  • Knowledge of consumer products and/or appliances
  • Brand management, strategic and analytical capabilities
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to problem-solve; ability to plan and align work to ensure accountability
  • Highly adaptable; energized by rapid change and ambiguity
  • Highly collaborative; skilled at working cross-functionally to drive results
  • Positive, self-motivated leader who can inspire others to rise to new challenges
