Job Description

The role is accountable for organizing, coordinating and allocating production resources to meet production schedules. Collaborates with all departments and ensure products flow efficiently from roasting, packaging and to distribution. What you will do:

  • Complies with regulations and safety procedures and continually monitors environment and equipment to ensure a safe workplace; is knowledgeable of Federal, State, local and GMC safety policies and procedures
  • When appropriate or in the absence of the shift supervisor this role will manage and lead team members to ensure all duties and tasks are performed efficiently
  • Tracks and monitors daily shift activities and makes adjustments as needed to ensure product is packaged in a timely manner
  • Completes daily assignment sheet, end of shift paperwork, grind log, plotter and Kraft Receiving file
  • Monitors process to assurance efficiency, resolves productions issues; adjusts schedules as appropriate; escalates issues as necessary
  • Verifies appropriate components are used during production; Update and monitor data in SAP
  • Rec green, move Kraft, move flavor barrels
  • Collaborates with appropriate team members Kraft Trailers to the doors to ensure grind schedules are met
  • Regularly monitors Coffee Processing activities throughout shift period to ensure production goals are being met.; Makes adjustments as needed;
  • Trains Coffee Processing Coordinators; Operates Powered Industrial Trucks;
  • Utilizes MS Outlook to communicate schedule changes or changes to planning/packaging or raw material constraints
  • Participates in Coffee Processing meetings and provides status updates, reports issues and production data updates
  • Carries out duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.


What you must have:

  • 1-2 years experience in coffee processing or manufacturing environment preferred
  • SAP and RF Bar Code scanning experience preferred
  • One or more years leadership experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of inventory control systems
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (especially Outlook
