Job Description

The International Tax Senior Manager is a key member of the tax team responsible for managing the international reporting and compliance responsibilities, including automation of those processes, as well as providing support with international tax projects.  This role will report to the Senior Director of International Tax, will have direct reports located in the Company’s Mexican business, and will mentor and manage US based staff. 

Responsibilities - Although not all inclusive, representative responsibilities of the position are listed below:

  • Drive automation of international compliance and provision processes, with the goal to create availability for business support and special tax planning projects;
  • Manage U.S. tax compliance and provision requirements including the computations of earnings and profits, Subpart F income inclusions, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTC’s, Forms 5471, 1118, 1042 and others;
  • Manage all aspects of foreign tax credit computations and the reporting of foreign source income and expense apportionment and review its presentation on Form 1118;
  • Manage tracking of U.S. tax attributes to assist in U.S. tax reporting and international tax planning including earnings and profit pools, tax pools, tax basis in corporate structure, and foreign tax credits;
  • Assist in preparation of responses to IRS IDR relating to international tax issues as needed;
  • Manage and assist service providers in the preparation and review of Non-US income tax compliance filings for countries such as Switzerland, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and others;
  • Review of local country US GAAP provision calculations on a quarterly basis for countries such as Mexico, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Singapore and others;
  • Provide tax support, including modeling and technical advice for business changes and special projects; and
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the execution of special projects


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related discipline with CPA or Masters of Tax;
  • 7-10 years international and federal tax experience in Big 4 or comparable tax experience in a large multinational corporation;
  • Proficiency in a virtual work environment, utilizing collaboration technical tools including Webex or Teams, electronic workpapers, sharepoints, etc.;
  • Understanding of international aspects of U.S. taxation including earnings and profits, Subpart F, foreign tax credit and TCJA provisions, as well as their relevance to U.S. compliance and tax reporting;
  • Strong research and analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to develop and maintain complex tax models;
  • Strong Excel skills as well as proficiency with Word and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to apply and adapt gained experiences/knowledge to new situations;
  • Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment and
  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal, technical communication and presentation skills
