Job Description

The Scrum Master is responsible for managing scrum teams and helping teams to leverage agile principles, practices and frameworks in order to deliver high quality products on time.

What you will do:

  • Guide multiple embedded software development teams to deliver technology solutions through effective application of the Lean/Agile principles and frameworks including SAFE, Scrum and Kanban methods
  • Provide leadership and coaching of scrum teams in all aspects of scrum, which include facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, demo and retrospective meetings, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, calculating velocity, and limiting work in progress.
  • Support the teams and stakeholders by providing Jira dashboards and reports while ensuring they are using the tool properly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that release deliverables are clearly communicated to the team
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is in good shape and always ready for the next sprint.
  • Identify risks, impediments as well as cross-team dependencies and support mitigation activities by working with teams and Product Owners
  • Ensure that retrospectives produce actionable tasks; follow through to ensure that recommendations are implemented successfully and in a timely manner
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assist with internal communication, improve transparency, and share information
  • Review scrum processes and drive improvements


What you must have:

  • 2+ years as a Scrum master for a SW or FW development team
  • Must be a certified Scrum Master
  • Must have working experience with Atlassian Tool Chain (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred

 Highly Preferred

  • Hands-on engineering experience in product development
  • Experience in consumer products
  • Experience with SAFe
