DESCRIPTION 

Reporting to the Director of Field Sales, based out of the Toronto area, working out of the Mississauga office, the successful candidate will be results driven with a strong desire to win and motivate a team of 10 territory sales managers. With a proven track record to drive sales, they will contribute to KDP Canada’s success by maximizing business growth through in-store executional excellence to all channels (Grocery, Retail, Mass) within the Ontario region.

WHAT WILL DO:

  • Lead, develop and motivate the sales team in order to achieve corporate KPI’s of our KDP Canada brands;
  • Coach sales team in their selling techniques and territory management;
  • Communicate sales plans, sales targets, and track the execution of team objectives;
  • Manage team territory coverage plan;
  • Lead weekly team sales meetings, as well as plan and lead regional meetings;
  • Work as a key point of contact between sales and field sales for execution priorities;
  • Provide regular communication with sales director on team results, employee relations, and competitive activity in the market;
  • Responsible for the management of regional budgets;
  • HR accountability for performance reviews, recruitment and training.
Requirements

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration;
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a comparable position with people management experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Prior sales and merchandising or retail customer service experience;
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills;
  • Technologically savvy with advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note)
  • Strong analytical and negotiation abilities;
  • Strategic selling experience in all phases of selling process;
  • Dynamic and self-motivated;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Results oriented;
  • Customer service oriented;
  • Excellent time management and priority setting;
  • Must own a reliable vehicle, valid driver`s license, with clean driver`s abstract;
  • Territory requires 30% travel;
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
