Production Machine Operator Nights, Sumner ,WA

The Machine Operator  is responsible for delivering success in Keurig Dr Pepper’s production processes; including enabling the operation of manufacturing equipment and maintaining compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards for safety and quality. This role will be engaged in and contribute to initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.

In this role, you will be expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the operational, electrical, mechanical, and software systems within the packaging and/or processing equipment.  This is a hands-on role that will require you to enable the operation of manufacturing equipment at its peak efficiency, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment.  Working within a highly automated TPM-based environment, the Production Technician I will be expected to execute standardized processes following standard work in a High Performing Team based environment.

Position Details

This position starts at $19.11/hour with an attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) included. It will support our coffee processing team'. Both day and night shifts available a rotating 2-3-2 schedule (see below).

Day Shift- 5:00am to 5:30pm

Night Shift- 5:00pm to 5:30am 

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Flexibility to work potential overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Position Responsibilities

  • Solve other line issues.
  • Train other operators on use of machinery. 
  • Perform best practice quality checks on line and equipment. 
  • Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available. 
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed. 
  • Monitor line for defective materials and perform any other related work in accordance with line quality.
  • Record all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.). 
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment and facility as required


What you must have:

  • 1 year prior experience with operation of high-speed production machinery
  • 1 year prior experience monitoring of product quality
  • Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly
