The Windsor operation is a key KDRP manufacturing and distribution location.  The site operates on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); leverages the principles of Lean manufacturing and will harness the power of High-Performance Teams.  All associates at the Windsor site have accountability to a functional zone in addition to the full site operation.  The site runs on state-of-the-art enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, and packaging equipment.


The Production Technician I is responsible for delivering success in Keurig Dr Pepper’s production processes; including enabling the operation of manufacturing equipment and maintaining compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards for safety and quality. This role will be engaged in and contribute to initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.

In this role, you will be expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the operational, electrical, mechanical, and software systems within the packaging and/or processing equipment.  This is a hands-on role that will require you to enable the operation of manufacturing equipment at its peak efficiency, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment.  Working within a highly automated TPM-based environment, the Production Technician I will be expected to execute standardized processes following standard work in a High Performing Team based environment. Starting Pay for this role is $15.65 per hour. Shift Schedule is Nights. 


Deliver best-in-class performance across the balanced Scorecard

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment, adhere to 6S standards, and performing behavioral safety observations
  • Be able to perform and monitor in line tests using sophisticated test equipment to monitor inspect, and adjust if necessary, ensuring adherence to Keurig Dr Pepper specs
  • Capable of performing multiple activities within the zone, including observing, monitoring, and adjusting the packaging equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Performs other duties as requested by leadership of the area and site.

Lead and sustain TPM-based Production Environment

  • Performs standard work for Autonomous (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities.
  • Actively participates in various Kaizen activities at the site and assist in line and zone implementations of improvements identified during the events.
  • Partner with maintenance on the execution of preventative maintenance, and actively participates in improvement activities on issues that cross team and functional boundaries.



Engage in Zone Operations Unit and High Performing Team (HPT) model

  • Provide support for plant identifying trends in data and proposing action steps where appropriate, positively adapting to the changing business environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with others, complete all tasks in work area and contribute fair share of team’s work, communicate status of work during shift transitions, demonstrate a willingness to help other team members, and display high level of cooperation across the site
  • Exhibits a positive demeanor and models engaging communication styles and behaviors, demonstrates self-awareness and takes actions to continuously improve, does not engage in negative commentary, interacts respectfully and professionally with area leaders and coworkers




  • 2 years of experience with packaging machine operations in a manufacturing facility
  • Must be able to work in a highly automated, fast-paced production environment with the ability to understand and operate complex equipment such as PLCs, operating control systems that interfaces with machines.
  • Mathematical aptitude to make production calculations and identify improvement opportunities
  • Computer and software skills (Microsoft Applications and SAP preferred)
  • Flexible, self-motivated team player with the ability to follow direction and work independently.
  • Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor with some frequency of computer work
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds frequently without assistance
