Nights Forklift Operator - Allentown, PA

The Forklift Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, staging, pulling and distributing pallets of Keurig Dr Pepper product supplies while meeting productivity requirements.

The Allentown operation is a state of the art aseptic bottling and variety packaging facility along with a full beverage distribution center. The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams.

All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation. The site will run on state of the art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes. This position will be responsible for the Quality functions for the Manufacturing and Distribution sites.

Shift and Schedule:

This is a full time position supporting our D Shift, working a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00pm - 6:00am EST. Employees must also have the flexibility to work overtime, including potential weekends and/or holidays, as required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define, monitor and course correct business units’ performing metrics
  • Responsible the receiving and unloading of bulk goods, as well as receiving and unloading of packaging and production supplies
  • Update SAP using a RF scanner for received and outbound materials
  • Inventory cycle counts
  • Operate forklift within safety standards
  • Use TPM processes to drive zero equipment downtime.
  • Deliver site safety goal of zero injuries
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area
  • Rotate floor stock by moving oldest product first
  • Maintain correct inventory stock in the warehouse
  • Interaction with AGV’s (Automated Guided Vehicles)
  • Lift, carry, pick, and stack materials
  • Handling and Removing full product from palletizer area
  • Other duties as required

  • 1 year of sit down forklift operation experience
  • 1 year of experience using SAP or a similar warehouse management system
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Experience with coordinated operation of AGV’s (Automated Guided Vehicles) preferred
